Why the name BROKEN OWL PRODUCTIONS™?
OWL comes from Psalms 102:6-7, "I am like an owl of the desert. I lie awake, and am like sparrow alone on the housetop." Owls represent lonliness and solitude. They also represent literary and artistic wisdom, as well as creativity.
BROKEN comes from Psalms 51:17, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart--These, O God, You will not despise." The Lord is near to those who are broken in their spirit; the only way we can come to Jesus is if we realize our brokenness. Thus, the Broken Owl. |
